Messmate timber features strong natural grain patterns and distinctive characteristics. As a result, every entertainment unit will have its own unique appearance.
Messmate can vary in colour from pale brown and peach through to light yellow. Furthermore, the sapwood can range from pale yellow to pale brown, creating a warm and rich natural finish.
Natural imperfections, markings, colour variations and differences in grain are inherent characteristics of Messmate timber. Therefore, these variations are not considered inconsistencies or faults and should be appreciated as part of the unique character of each piece.
